Dear Swim Families,

Welcome to the season! We are absolutely thrilled to have you dive in with us as part of our VIF—Very Important Family of Swimmers! You’ve officially made it through the first several days of practices, and the energy at the pool has been incredible. There is nothing quite like seeing those first few laps of the year, and we can’t wait to keep that momentum going!

They say it takes a village to raise a child, but it takes a whole community to power a swim team! This wonderful community thrives because of the collective heart of our "village."  

Friendships for a Lifetime

One of the most beautiful parts of this league isn't just the technique in the water, but the bonds formed on the deck. Whether you are reconnecting with old friends or making new ones, remember that these relationships carry you a very long way.

We’ve seen these friendships start at the starting blocks and endure all the way through college graduations and weddings. They are the same friends you’ll eventually find yourself with on exciting journeys on cruise ships or quick, spontaneous short trips. The memories made here truly last a lifetime!

A Support System Like No Other

Success in the water isn't just about the time on the scoreboard; it’s about the incredible support system behind every lane. We are looking forward to seeing parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and siblings all playing a vital role in each child's success.

Alongside our pretty special coaches, your encouragement is the secret ingredient that makes this experience so rewarding. This league is the heart of swimming in our area, and without your unwavering support, that simply wouldn't be the case.

Make an Impact: Join the CCSL Leadership

If you’re open to contributing on a community-wide level, we have some fantastic opportunities! These roles are vital to keeping our heart beating strong, and for the most part, they can be done year-round on your own schedule.

We are currently looking for:

• Communications Manager: Help us stay connected by updating the website, managing social media posts, and distributing important league info as directed by the Board.
• Scholarship Chair/Member: A rewarding role helping to raise scholarship funds, coordinating Senior Recognition, reviewing applications, and making the big announcement at the Champ Meet!
• League Clerk & Assistant Clerk (for 2027): Get a head start on next year by helping manage the essential logistics of our meets.
• Assistant League Official (for 2027): Join the team that ensures fair and fun competition for every swimmer.

Whether you have a specific professional skill or just a desire to give back, we would love to have you involved!
